Privacy Policy

1. Our privacy principle

AI Keyboard is built to respect your privacy:

• We do not log your keystrokes.
• Your normal typing is never recorded, stored, or uploaded.
• Text is sent for processing only when you choose to tap the AI or Translate button. Nothing is sent automatically as you type.

2. Information we process

a) Text you submit for AI or Translate

When you tap AI or Translate, the specific sentence or text you selected is sent over a secure connection to our processing service so we can return a correction, rewrite, or translation. This text is used only to fulfill that single request and to return the result to you. We do not use it to build a profile of you or for advertising.

b) Your settings and preferences

Your chosen language, theme, fonts, sound/haptic settings, text shortcuts, and similar preferences are stored on your device (and in a private app group container shared between the app and the keyboard). These stay on your device.

c) Daily usage counts

To enforce free-tier limits (3 AI and 3 Translate uses per day), the app keeps a simple daily counter on your device. This is not tied to your identity.

d) Purchase information

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with the subscription status needed to unlock Premium features.

e) Diagnostic information

We may process limited, non-identifying technical information (such as error messages) to keep the service reliable. This does not include your typed text.

3. AI and Translation Processing

AI Keyboard uses AI and translation services to provide grammar correction, rewriting, text improvement, and translation features.

Text is sent for processing only when the user taps AI or Translate. Normal typing is not automatically uploaded, and we do not log keystrokes.

Data that may be sent for AI or translation processing includes:

• The text the user asks the app to process
• The selected action, such as Fix, Rewrite, Improve, or Translate
• The selected target language for translation
• Basic technical information needed to process the request and maintain service reliability

This data may be processed by:

• Kousar Global Solutions backend
• OpenAI

We use this data only to generate the requested AI correction, rewrite, improvement, or translation. We do not sell this data.

The app asks for the user's permission before sending text to the AI or translation service. If the user does not allow this permission, AI and Translate features will not send text for processing.

4. What we do not do

• We do not log or store your keystrokes.
• We do not read or transmit text unless you tap AI or Translate.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use anything you type or the content of your AI/Translate requests for advertising, and we do not share that content with advertising partners. (See Section 7 for the separate, limited install-attribution data described below, which does not include anything you type.)

5. Full Access (why the keyboard asks for it)

iOS requires the “Allow Full Access” permission for a keyboard to use the internet. AI Keyboard requests Full Access only to enable the AI Fix, Rewrite, and Translate features, which need a network connection to work. With Full Access off, normal typing still works; only the internet-based AI and Translate features are unavailable. Enabling Full Access does not enable keystroke logging.

6. Third-party services

To deliver AI and translation results, your submitted text is processed using trusted third-party infrastructure, which may include:

• A cloud backend (used to securely relay requests).
• An AI model provider that generates the correction or translation.
• Apple (for in-app purchases and subscription management).

These providers process the text only to return your result and operate under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not authorize them to use your content for advertising.

7. Advertising, attribution, and App Tracking Transparency

AI Keyboard uses AppsFlyer as our mobile measurement partner, and may use AppLovin and its advertising network, to understand which marketing campaigns led to an app install and to measure advertising performance. This is separate from, and does not involve, anything you type or any text you submit to AI or Translate.

Depending on the permission you grant, this may include:

• The advertising identifier (IDFA) and/or vendor identifier (IDFV) assigned by your device.
• Basic technical/device information (such as device model, OS version, language, and general install/usage events like app opens) used for attribution and analytics.

On iOS, we ask for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any identifier is used for cross-app tracking or shared with advertising partners for that purpose. If you decline, AppsFlyer still provides basic, non-tracking attribution using privacy-preserving signals (such as Apple's SKAdNetwork), and the app functions fully either way. You can review or change this at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

We do not use your typed text, AI/Translate content, or keyboard activity for advertising or attribution purposes.

8. Data retention

We do not retain your typed text after a request is completed beyond what is technically necessary to process and return the result. Preferences and usage counters remain on your device until you delete the app or reset them.

9. Children’s privacy

AI Keyboard is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your choices

• You can disable Full Access at any time in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → AI Keyboard.
• You can remove the keyboard entirely, or delete the app, to stop all processing.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• You can decline or change App Tracking Transparency permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

11. Security

Text submitted for AI or Translate is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.
