How we scope, build and hand over work
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Operational policy for clients paying online or against a proposal. Review with an Indian legal professional for contract use.
1. Discovery before development
Fixed "starting at" prices on our Pricing page are indicative. We do not begin full app development, or accept full project purchase online, until requirements are reviewed and a written proposal (or statement of work) is accepted.
2. Typical milestone structure
- 30% — Project kickoff deposit: Due before development begins.
- 30% — UI/UX & prototype approval: Due after design and prototype approval.
- 30% — Beta delivery: Due after beta / UAT build delivery.
- 10% — Production launch & handover: Due before production launch / source-code handover.
Actual milestone names and percentages may be adjusted in the signed proposal. Each payable milestone may be billed through a secure Razorpay link or invoice issued by us.
3. Timelines
Published timelines (e.g. 6–10 weeks for an MVP package) are estimates based on typical scope. Delivery schedules depend on timely client input, third-party account access, content, API keys, design approvals, and store review queues. Delays outside our control extend target dates on a day-for-day or mutually agreed basis.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate requirements, brand assets, and copy.
- Grant access to developer / store / hosting / third-party accounts as needed.
- Review and approve designs, demos, and betas within agreed windows.
- Ensure you have rights to content, trademarks, and data you supply.
- Pay approved milestone invoices before further work stages begin when the proposal so requires.
5. Scope changes
Features not listed in the accepted proposal are out of scope. Material changes require a written change order with revised cost and timeline. We may pause work pending approval of change orders.
6. App Store & Play Store
We can assist with store submission and compliance guidance. We do not guarantee approval by Apple App Store, Google Play, or any third-party platform. Their policies and review times are outside our control. Rejection does not automatically create a full refund of completed work.
7. Intellectual property handover
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, IP assignment or licence for custom project deliverables transfers after full payment of agreed fees (including the final handover milestone) and subject to the written agreement. Open-source components remain under their respective licences. Our internal tools, libraries, and prior art may be licensed rather than assigned.
8. Support subscriptions
Monthly or annual support plans cover agreed hours and activities only. Major new product features require a separate quotation. Infrastructure and API costs remain the client's unless the plan expressly includes them.
9. Warranties for bug-fix windows
Package pages may mention post-launch bug-fix warranty periods (e.g. 30 or 45 days). These cover defects in work we delivered under the accepted scope, not new features, client-caused issues, third-party outages, or hosting misconfiguration by others.
